Inspired by Bonnard and Andrew Cranston’s Dreams of Everyday exhibition, this original linocut depicts a roll-top bath nestled among lush houseplants, with my little muse, Maisy, keeping watch. For me, bathing is a ritual of calm—water that quietly washes away the day’s cares. The print’s varied marks and textures invite the viewer in, evoking the tactile warmth of the scene and a sense of belonging within this tranquil domestic moment.
Handprinted using Cranfield’s relief ink on Lawrence’s Hereford paper.
